Our Trainer/Instructor and Our Horses

Below you can read about our resident Trainer/Instructor/Manager as well as our select few lesson horses

Jamie Murray
Trainer
Instructor
Manager

Jamie Murray: She has had a passion for all things horse related since before anyone can remember. She has been riding since 1994. She trained her first show horse starting in 2000 and started training for others in 2008. She is an advocate for rescuing horses and preventing abuse and neglect. Horses are her Lifes Passion and that shows in her care of the horses in her stable

BLM MUSTANG
Dakota
2009 Mustang gelding

Dakota, fondly known as Wild Man, is our BLM mustang. he was captured in 2003 and has been with us since November 4th 2012. He requires an experienced handler unless supervised by Jamie. he is patient, has never tried to be mean in any way and has been a real joy to learn and grow with. We arent quite sure who taught who more, Jamie or Dakota. He will be used for ground training lessons and will soon be available for the extreemly advanced lesson where the rider wants to learn to train a horse. He has just started his under saddle career and we are excited to see how far this handsom boy will go!

Miss Evening Bonanza
2006 American Quarter Horse
Solid Black Mare

Foxy will be available for advanced beinner lessons and up. she was born in 2006 and will only be used occasionally as she is being bred in May for an April 2015 Foal. She is trained in hunter, jumper, dressage, western pleasure and started on barrels and driving. She is an honest mare bu tends to be a bit head strong once she knows what she can get away with. she is a bit out of shape due to the hard winter but we will be fixing that very soon!

Bells Cheyenne
1999 Bay Paint Mare

Cheyenne is Jamies first big training project. She is as mischevious as they come and always into SOMETHING! she doesnt act her age. Sadly she had some medical issues over the winter and lost a bunch of weight. as soon as she i back up to regular weight she will be available for beginner lessons, Walk and Trot only is more then likely all she can handle with her medical conditions. she is a love to be around and absolutely LOVES kids. we will not be at the barn for a little while as we would like to have her on pasture and hay that she wont have to share to help get her weight back up. she is sure to become a barn favorite when she makes her grand appearance!
